Recreating Dance with the Gold Generation

Dance is a powerful form of art that transcends all borders as it weaves a story of spirit, soul and emotions, one conventionally perceived to be led by the younger generation. FIDA Japan confutes this stereotype by recreating dance with the seniors, affectionately termed the “Gold Generation”. This year, FIDA partnered the SUSS Minor in Applied Ageing Studies team to bring one of their groups, Soulful Foods, to Singapore to perform at the World Ageing Festival 2024 and engage in a dance cultural exchange. Get inspired by these chronicles of passion and growth as Toshiya Asai shares his exciting journey.
