Mrs Patricia Lau, CEO of Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council, brings to light the pressing challenge of caring for the elderly with dementia. She champions innovative solutions like the use of AI-driven mobile app that offers respite for Seniors who experience crippling knee pain. Patricia extends a call to entrepreneurs to engage themselves in lives of the elderly and learn of their pain points, in order to co-create lasting solutions that benefit our ageing community.

Patricia previously served as Director of Alumni Affairs and Development at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK). With 30+ years of management experience, she was Deputy Commissioner for Efficiency in the HKSAR Government's Innovation and Technology Bureau. Her work included fostering social innovation and collaboration, notably with the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund (SIE Fund) Task Force. She also has a background in IT and consulting, having worked with IBM, PwC, and PA Consulting Group for 20 years.
