Be a Healthy & Happy Caregiver

Tsao Foundation

About this course

Caregiving for older persons can be a positive experience and a catalyst for personal growth and better bonding with family, especially with elderly parents. On the other hand, there can be negative effects of caregiving when the responsibility of caring becomes too challenging and overwhelming.

Caregiving is not a one-person show; it is a family matter which involves all parties concerned. The journey of caregiving can feel like a rollercoaster ride with ups and downs, especially when caregivers are confronted with this new role with no prior experience in caring for ageing parents who are becoming dependent.

Caregivers often strive to provide the best care and support for their loved ones while wearing many hats and multi-tasking at the same time. It is imperative that caregivers get connected to support and services to help them cope with the demands of caregiving which can be exhausting and overwhelming. This course shows you how to do that - and care for yourself!
